The legend returns...
The legend has returned! Today started nice and early. I woke up at 5am and finally got out of bed at 5.30am and started getting ready as I was meeting Paul at 6.30am. Of course, I was late, haha. Anyway, Paul has returned, and he's back after a break from the bike.
We headed out towards the coast but didn't head too far from home. It was awesome to catch up. I have really missed riding with the legend. I took my MTB as it was ready, and as mentioned before, I was running a bit late. A few hours of riding and some awesome coffee at my local cafe were well needed.

Paul was telling me all about his adventure in the Race around the Netherlands, which we are going to do a full feature-length episode on in the next week or so. It sounds like he had a lot of fun, but it didn't come easy to complete the 2000k ride.
After I left him, I got back and decided to hit the gym to get some strength training in. I have really been making an effort to do more strength training recently. I split my week down into three sessions at the minute, push and core, pull and core, and legs. Today was leg day, and because of my hip injury and the fact I haven't done much leg training in the last year or so, I have to go light for a few weeks.

I did some leg press, curls, extensions, good mornings, abductor, and some glute extensions. It was a good session, but I felt good and did want to go heavier holding myself back from being silly is challenging, haha. After I got back, I took the pup for a walk and then came home to continue working and do some cleaning. I got a bit done but didn't feel too on it today. I will do a couple of hours tomorrow. I think to make up for it. Tomorrow I plan to ride the new loan bike can't wait to tell you all about it. Thanks for reading same time tomorrow!
