Hey guys, sorry I haven't blogged in a few days. Honestly, I want to tell you I have been super busy, but I just haven't really had the energy and found myself easily distracted by a project which went pretty wrong unfortunately, but that's a story for tomorrow.
So I got my MRI results today, which I found quite surprising as although my previous diagnosis of osteitis pubis is correct, they came across something else which I didn't know I had. They found a small tear in a muscle in my hip joint. They said it could be part of the problem, or it could have been a previous injury that healed as much as it could and then stopped, which is common in muscle tears.
I feel I am improving as each month goes by, and I take much less medication (anti-inflammatories). I have been referred to an orthopedic doctor, and he will tell me the best way to go about it, which I think will just be to let it finish healing itself. I'm just glad I'm at a point I can ride and still train at the gym. I joke with Bryony, my partner, and say I'm getting old... It's true, haha.
I am not going to plan any silly rides for a while but will start upping my training soon after I speak to the doctor but all in all, I'm super happy that what they found wasn't too much of an issue. Only a shot blog today. I will tell you all about the failed project tomorrow, haha.
