Having an MRI

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all ok! So today was the long awaited MRI Scan for this issue I have been having with my hip. I have never been for an MRI before. I didn’t know what to expect until I started googling what happens last night. I did start to get a little nervous, but like with anything, that‘s normal. I guess my biggest worry is the whole confined space thing. Typically, I’m not a fan of it, but it didn’t bother me.

The staff was super efficient, and I didn’t even have time to overthink anything. Before I knew it, I was in the massive tube, and I had to keep as still as possible while listening to Radio 2. I can’t believe how noisy it was, and I even had earplugs and headphones. I feel happy I got it done and will have to wait a week to get my results.

I feel the problem is improving by itself, but I am currently cycling less and avoid doing certain things so I don’t get pain in my hip. The recovery process of the condition I have is supposedly 4 months to 3 years, google tells me, and I’m only a year in, so maybe it’s just taking a long time to heal. I was told to get an MRI because we don’t understand why it started. Typically this condition comes from an injury or accident and is very common in athletes who play football.

Anyway, enough about that. Since I had to take a trip to pretty much Norwich, I decided I’d spend a bit of time there. So I did some shopping, and I even took a trip to the Phoenix Gym for a workout. I went on the hunt for Henry’s Hog roast, which is a stall in the market my Dad used to take me to, but unfortunately, it wasn’t open. After a little bit more shopping, I got back in the car and headed home, casually stopping at McDonald's for a milkshake before the drive back.

That’s pretty much everything that happened today. I had some cool orders come in from work today, so il be focusing on them and training for the next couple of days, but I will try and keep the blog and vlog daily as I’m enjoying it because it feels like I’m keeping a diary.

Stay cool everyone!

Robbie
